Data Cleansing

Project Description: 

After a brief analysis of existing MRO materials (maintenance, repair and operations) database (performed by 3rd party company), the client (Rominserv) concluded that is needed an optimization it's own MRO materials Master data in order to obtain structured, accurate and accessible product information - “Item Master Clean-Up”.

Major Objectives:

  • Develop a rationalized Inventory Cataloguing Strategy and procedures implementation;
  • Review, create and update an effective catalogue to manage the Stock Item Master more effectively and efficient nationalized Material Master that will be an effective tool for Maintenance, Purchase and Logistics Management;
  • Uniform coding structure of the Item Master;
  • Controlled Items Creation and Obsolescence;
  • Aligned approach for Item Master maintenance, including Items Coding and Naming conventions, Item Creation and Item Obsolescence procedures;
  • Enrichment of BOM for critical equipment;
  • MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operation) spare parts optimization.

Process Information & Data Reconciliation System

Project Objectives:

Supply, application design, installation, implementation and commissioning of plant wide information system based on PI System and SigmaFine software package.
